This is Robert Morrison Weir and his wife Katherine Menzies.

Rob was born at Dane End in Herts. He was the son of James and Elizabeth Weir, ie a brother to Aunt Jeannie of Duncairn and later Ford Street.

My Gran used to say that Rob was sent to stay with the Grays at Duncairn so he could go to universtity but it was actually to serve his engineer's apprenticeship.

Rob later emigrated to Canada where he married Kit.
