Further down the oldroad, you come to small row of houses that make up Burnton.

Following the road to the left will eventual lead to the main A811 road. However, just where to road turns down to the right, take the smaller path which continues west.

To reach Kippen, continue along the path, over 2 fences / stiles.  At one point you will feel that you have lost the path, as you walk through a field, often occupied by cows, however, this is only about 200 yards. At the other side of the field is a second stile which leads to a visible, if overgrown path.

The path leads to one of the roads above Kippen High street.
