Pimp Your Brick

Pimp your Brick

Saturday October 24th 2009.

Despite dreadful weather there was a great turn out by the village children to show their support and make their contribution towards the campaign to rennovate the village community centre.

Whilst adults and families are being encouraged to contribute through our Buy A Brick campaign it was recognised that many of the younger people in the village wanted to show their support as well.

Pimp Your Brick was an opportunity for the young people to buy a brick slip and decorate it using a variety of art and craft materials. The resulting tiles form a fantastic and colourful display and will be proudly displayed in the rennovated Community Centre forming a permanent reminder of their contribution.

Additional support for the day was provided by the Gargunnock Guides who ran a coordinating cafe selling soup, filled rolls, tea, coffee and home baking. This was a huge success and there were many happy customers.

The total raised by the Pimp Your Brick project so far is over £300!
