2011 Gala


	Inaugural Flag Raising 2011

The Gala Committee was delighted to receive a grant from the Community Grants Scheme to purchase 3 flagpoles for the village. Our “main” flagpole is sited at the Fountain in the village and on the eve of our 2011 Gala a small but hardy group of individuals braved the torrential rain to witness the raising of the St Andrew’s Flag on our new flagpole.

	The committe’s intention is to eventually have a Gargunnock Flag which can be flown throughout the year and to fly appropriate flags at other times. Please speak to Jane Bain or our flagpole Guru Douglas C if you have suggestions on appropriate flags.
