Horses over 15 years old may enter this section and the Veteran Class.
Class 1. Brood Mare.
Class 2. Colt or Filly Foal.
Class 3. Yeld Mare, four years old and upwards.
Class 4. Three year old Mare.
Class 5. Two year old Filly.
Class 6. One year old Filly.
Class 7. Gelding, three years old and upwards.
Class 8. Two year old Colt.
Class 9. Two year old Gelding.
Class 10. One year old Colt or Gelding.
Class 11. Best Pair of Clydesdales.
Special Rosette for Best Gelding, any age.
Special Rosette for Best Clydesdale Bred By Exhibitor.
Special Rosette for Best Clydesdale, three years and under, bred by exhibitor, and the Scottish Central H.B. Salver.
The Carrick Trophy presented to Champion Clydesdale.

14.2h.h. (Colts of up to 2 years are eligible but
must be bitted and led from the bit)
RIDDEN
Class 16. Riding Horse, over 14.2h.h, rider any age.
Class 17. Horse and Rider combination; to be judged on
competence, style and turn out of horse
and rider together; jumps to 2ft 6 maximum.
Those in Class 16 apart from 1st prize winner
are eligible to compete.

VETERAN HORSE AND PONY CLASSES

Judging will take place in the horse ring when all other horse and pony sections have been judged.
Class A. Horse or pony 15 years and over to be shown
In -Hand.
Class B. Ridden Horse or Pony 15 years and over.
Horses and Ponies may enter Class A or Class B
NOT BOTH.
Winners of the above classes are not eligible to compete for Champion of Champions.

SHOWJUMPING
Weather permitting, Showjumping will commence when all pony show classes are finished. All competitors must have paid their £10.00 subscription to the secretary and entered at least one showing class. All entries on the day. Entry fees of £3.00 per class are payable to the stewards before each class commences.
Class 1. Novice Novice Rider to be under 10 years old.
Jumps not exceeding 1ft 6" in the first round.
Class 2. Novice - Jumps not exceeding 2ft in first round
Class 3. Intermediate - Jumps not exceeding 2ft 6" in
the first round.
Clear round showjumping will take place at £1 a round if
time permits.
POINTS PRIZE
A Points Prize will be awarded to the family winning most points in the Show: Cattle Section, Sheep Section and Horse and Pony Section together.
1st Prize = 3 points; 2nd Prize = 2 points; 3rd Prize = 1 point
