When I access the Home page, I receive an error saying something about Javascript ()
The Web pages are only designed to be used with Netscape Navigator v4+, Nescape Communicator v4+ or Internet Explorer v4+. In addition, you must make sure you have Javascript enabled. Contact the WebMaster on how to go about doing this. It’s not difficult, but would take too long to type!

The right side of the page does not fit on my screen.
The pages were originally designed for computers with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. Changes were made to bring this down to 800 x 600, however not all screen could be adjusted. Most computers purchased in the last 2-3 years should support the higher resolution. To check, on Win95 or Win98, Right mouse click on your desktop (not on an icon) and chose properies. Click on the ‘Settings’ Tab. The resolution is displayed. Try to move the slider up to 1024/768. You may notice that the no. of colours is reduced. This means your computer can only display this resolution with less colours. Try it out, with the Apply button. If it works ok, then next time you access the Web page, you should see everything.

When I click on a link, the whole page appears within a window down in the bottom righthand corner.
This is a fault that was not picked up when the pages were developed. We probably don’t know about it, so please send an email to the Webmaster letting him know. He will appreciate it.

When I open a page. The next appears in a narrow column down the left of the frame.
Yes, tricky one that. No fix yet, but, a workaround is to press the Refresh button at the top of the screen. That seems to work. If we discover the problem, then it will be fixed.

The pages take a long time to download
Some of the pages are quite large. You should be using a modem with a speed of at least 28,800 Bps. Ideally v.90 (56K) is best. If you still have problems then it may be down to your Internet Service Provider, or, a configuration problem. Contact the WebMaster for support.

When I press the SiteMap button it gives a nasty error and Internet Explorer closes
Probably means you have an old Browser. I suggest you buy one of those Computer Magazines. Many of them have the lastest Internet Explorer, or Netscape Navigator on a CD-ROM Cover disk. Installing either IE5 or NS4 will sort the problem.

I have an Apple Mac / iMac, can I access the pages on this
Yes, but don’t ask me how. If anyone has an Apple Mac, the Webmaster would love to discuss how this works and whether it is supported properly.
I have an old 386 and want to access the Web site. Can I ?
I doubt it, but you can try. It will be very slow. You can purchase a replacement system now for around £500, ($750 for you US folk !).
